The pod will be open and ready for you once your plane lands. Simply make your way out of town to the north along Sydney Hwy (its the only road North!) untill you see 'The Cephalopod' sign on the left. We are a little past The Big Barge.

Check-out Mondays is by 10:30am

Check-out Fridays is by 10:00am

Late check-outs may be permitted dependant on incoming booking and occupancy. Please check with caretakers to authorise.

It is recommended to have a car to get about the island. Contact the Cocos Islands Visitor Center for car booking options.

A cleaning charge will be imposed if kitchenware is not cleaned and put away. Please leave the Pod clean and orderly upon your exit.

The natural smells and scents of the ocean and tropics is what we enjoy. There is STRICTLY a no smoking policy either inside the accommodation or on the outside deck. This includes cigarettes, vapes, mosquito coils, candles, incense, essential oils or any item that requires a flame or burning both by fuel source or battery. Damage caused by breech of these terms will incur a fee for cleaning and/or damage repair. 

One car parking bay is provided nearby the accommodation for guests.  This bay is sign posted at end of driveway to The Cephalopod. Visitors of guests may park along grass at driveway entrance.

Disruptions to flights can occur due to the remote nature of the islands. Refunds will not be given due to flight interruptions and it is highly recommended that travel insurance be taken to cover losses you may incur due to unforeseen circumstances. 

Replacement bookings at short notice are difficult to achieve due to the Islands remote location.

Cancellation greater than 90 days before booking:

o   Booking transferable or

o Full refund minus $100 admin fee 

Cancellation less than 90 days before booking:

o   No refund and not transferable

The retreat is restricted to those 18 years and older.
